We’re creating Warrenton’s first indoor play space for families with young children (ages 0-10), filled with exciting activities for every age. Kids can climb and explore on engaging play structures, dig and build in the indoor sandbox, and step into a world of creativity in our imaginative play areas. For the littlest adventurers, there’s a dedicated space just for babies and toddlers under two, ensuring a safe and cozy spot to play.
We believe that play matters and it should be fun for kids and easy for parents. That’s why we’re creating a space where kids can burn energy, spark imagination, and make new friends—all while parents relax, sip a coffee from the café next door, and actually enjoy a moment to breathe.
Frolic and Lark will be more than just a play space. We’ll offer open play, birthday parties, and after-school care for busy families who need a reliable, fun, and engaging place for their kids. We’re also planning community events and special sensory-friendly playtimes to make sure everyone feels welcome.
We’re bringing new life to the historic Outpost Building, once home to the Fenton Grocery. Right now, it’s looking a little rough, but we see something special—imagination, adventure, and a whole lot of laughter filling the space.
As we design this space, we’d love to hear from you! What would make Frolic and Lark even more magical for your family? A cozy reading nook? A giant slide? A bubble machine that never stops? Tell us your wildest ideas—we’re all ears. Follow along as we build, plan, and prepare to welcome you and your family to a place made just for them. We can't wait to play with you!
Frolic and Lark is coming to life inside the historic Outpost Building, once home to the Fenton Grocery. While the space has seen better days, we see its charm and potential. As we restore this piece of local history, we’re excited to create a vibrant indoor play space for families to enjoy. We’ll be sharing the building with The Outpost, a coffee shop and café, making it a welcoming community hub where kids can play, and parents can connect.
Imagine a space filled with warmth, creativity, and endless opportunities for play—this is the vision for Frolic and Lark. The inspiration photos give a glimpse of what’s possible: soft, inviting play areas, whimsical climbing structures, and vibrant spaces designed for exploration and connection. While these aren’t the exact final designs, they capture the feeling we want to bring to life—a space where kids can be kids, families can gather, and every corner invites adventure and fun. We can’t wait to transform this historic building into something truly special!
Hi everyone! I’m Nicole Bian, the heart behind Frolic and Lark, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my family to all of you. I currently work as a teacher at Bumble Preschool, where I get to support and nurture little learners every day. My husband is an IA at Astoria High School where he assists students with autism and sensory needs, and we’re raising our two kiddos, Beckett and Annabelle, right here in Warrenton.
I care a lot about this community and love helping it grow—not just through Frolic and Lark. I also serve on Warrenton’s Urban Renewal Committee and stay actively involved in local projects by being a board member of Spruce Up Warrenton. Frolic and Lark isn’t just a business for us; it’s a dream to create something lasting for families in our area.
We’re working hard to bring this space to life, and if you’d like to help, our Indiegogo campaign is a great way to make an impact. Your donation will go directly toward creating a safe, fun, and engaging space for local families - something our community truly needs. I can’t wait to welcome you all through our doors soon!
